Aqua Tech Waterjet and Laser - Projects

December 15, 2015 - Christmas is almost here and we are busy making gifts and ornaments for you! Contact us if you'd like to make something special for your loved ones.

July 28, 2015 - Engraved Acrylic Panel - Reverse engraving refers to the process of engraving the "under-side" of a substrate – allowing the top or finished side of the substrate to remain smooth. This is an excellent application for signs and panels. This engravable plastic is available in several colors and thicknesses.

July 1, 2015 - Laser Engraved Tree Stump

April 2, 2015 - In an effort to help reduce the damage done by the worsening California drought, Aqua Tech is taking big strides to reduce water usage. We have installed a state of the art chiller with a closed loop system to recycle water.

It allows the closed loop system (which uses city water) to cool it's intensifier pumps and reuse the water instead of dumping it down the drain. We estimate to save 6 million gallons of water in 2015 with our new chiller.

February 1, 2015 - Our laser stayed very busy over the holiday season making ornaments and custom presents for our thoughtful customers. Even though our cutting table is 24 x 39 we can still accommodate larger pieces using our pass through system. We use multiple files to engrave the art on very long and bulky parts. Send us your vectorised art for a free quote!

January 15, 2015 - We have spent the last portion of the year cutting stack after stack of titanium. These pieces are used in the nose section of a Boeing 787 jet.

October 15, 2014 - After years of attending, we finally decided to enter the annual Hi-Time Charity Chili Cook-Off. With the help of our very own BBQ pitmaster, we got to smoking and stirred up 25 gallons of chili. We served over 1200 portions and went on to win the people’s choice award. All of the proceeds from the event went to The Boys & Girls Club of America.

October 1, 2014 - The Laguna Beach, CA lifeguard department recently got a makeover with a little help from Aqua Tech. In addition to some bronze signs, we helped them create their logo from Stainless Steel and a special blue and red stone. You can see the inlay installed in the concrete in front of the Laguna Beach Lifeguard HQ.

August 21, 2014 - Next time you're at the LA Zoo, make sure you check out the aluminum butterfly donor plaques we helped them create. With the help of SS Metal Fabricators we designed, cut and bent these beautiful plaques. In addition to the butterflies, we created a special bracket for easy mounting. The plaques are on display in The Rainforest of the Americas.

June 9, 2014 - Check out these pics of some recent work we did with precision-tooled bronze plaque insets. The insets are round, custom 29" with orbitally-sanded, raised graphic and oxidized bronze inlayed into water jet cut stone. Cool!
